REMINDERS JULY 2021

  1. WEAR YOUR PPE. The Agency’s PPE guidelines have not changed: PPE Graphic 2021
  2. DON’T FORGET SOURCE CONTROL. Place a surgical mask on every patient.
  3. WEAR A SURGICAL MASK. If you are not vaccinated, you must wear a surgical mask at all times in the building, at posts, and while on the ambulance or performing patient care.
  4. STAY EDUCATED. Nationally, the CDC has a data tracker. Mecklenburg County releases data via weekly dashboards.
  5. GET VACCINATED. And encourage others to do the same. 95.5% of COVID-19 related deaths are among unvaccinated individuals. Browse local vaccination locations here.
